On Friday, November 30, 2012, First Step Georgia (FSG) held a successful charity Winter Gala Dinner and Dance at the Tbilisi Concert Hall.
On April 20, Rustaveli Theatre hosted a charity concert conducted by Tatia Sharangia, a Georgian pianist, after her 2-year intermission. The program was presented in two parts including 2 musical compositions by Beethoven and 4 by Chopin. The concert was a sold-out, the pianist was encored several times and performed musical composition in addition. Opening remarks were made by Mr. Giorgi Akhalaia, Director of “First Step Georgia”, and Mr. Sandro Shelia, Tatia Sharangias husband and the Founder of newly-founded Fund “Nateli Sakartvelo”. The event had a deep resonance in mass media and was covered by all the leading broadcasting companies in Georgia. The above mentioned concert was dedicated to “First Step Georgia” and all proceeds will go directly to support our beneficiaries to improve the quality of their lives.
