A new pilot program for Home Based Care The Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia is launching a new pilot program for home based care in October. Children with profound and severe mental and physical disabilities will receive services of specialists at home to develop their psychological, social, self-care and communication skills.

First Step Georgia launches the Sensory Integration Program for children with special needs at the Sensory Room.
The Tbilisi Day Care Center of First Step Georgia hosted representatives of the PR Club Georgia - an association of professionals in public relations, marketing, advertising and communications services. Representatives of the PR Club donated large TV set with a plasma display to the Day Care Center and also presented the children with many different gifts. Costumed cartoon characters Mickey and Minnie Mouse came to the Day Care Centre as well and were welcomed by the children with great joy. The children spent time dancing, reading poems and having fun with the cartoon characters. We would like to thank the PR Club for this wonderful act of charity, for their love, friendship and support to the children.
